Headcount & Deployment
XBR2 · PM shift date is the date the shift starts. Late is included in Present. Unassigned counts present employees without a complete assignment.

Hourly rates are not configured yet, so deployment-based labor cost and cost per unit remain unavailable. Uploaded invoice spend is shown separately below; no hourly rates are assumed.
Separate process totals; units may pass through more than one process.
Available after hourly rates are configured. Confirmed hours are ready for the later cost calculation.

Inbound: Receiver / Each Receive / Receiving in Inbound. Stow: Stower / Stow. Picking: Picker / Picking. ICQA workspace or department is shown separately; Ad hoc allocations always stay separate. Other roles are Other. ICQA and Ad hoc hours are not allocated to unit costs automatically. Ratios divide summed matched hours by summed matched units, never average daily ratios. Zero and missing output are distinct. PM is attributed to its shift-start date. Person-hours are confirmed deployment hours, not elapsed shift time. Rates do not imply individual employee productivity.

Agency labor invoices exclude permanent payroll. Invoice spend is separate from modeled deployment cost and is not added to it.

No invoices match the selected filters.
Monthly net allocations must equal the invoice net total. For a partial month, amounts are prorated evenly over covered service days; VAT follows the allocated net amount. Selected-period values are rounded to pennies. Shared OPEX is not automatically allocated to shifts or processes. No automatic invoice-versus-roster reconciliation has been performed.

Tenure of employees remaining at period end
Historical net working hours by employee, area and role.
Default plan: 11 working hours, excluding both breaks. Actual hours require manager confirmation. Not marked has no confirmed hours; Absent / authorised leave has zero worked hours. These are manager-reported hours, not payroll or clock-in verification. No invoice amount is inferred.
Grey: planned hours · Red: confirmed actual hours. Shared scale in hours; date, week, shift, agency, role and employee filters apply.
Zero confirmed hours means no confirmed time in this selection. It does not prove that no work took place.

Events linked by Employee ID · selected period and filters.
Counts are recorded events, not an error rate or productivity ranking. Each event counts once per employee; multiple conversation notes do not add errors. Confirmed errors are shown separately. Direct cost covers only linked confirmed operational errors with cost data; missing costs are not treated as zero.

Saved shift records in the selected Analysis period and filters.
Period filters refer to defect dates. Conversation status is the latest recorded status, not a historical snapshot. Each employee–defect pair is one task.

Elapsed calendar time from record creation / import to the first saved conversation, including off-shift hours. Grouped by the manager account that saved it and Shift ID. Filters use defect dates. Missing timestamps are excluded. Follow-up notes do not restart the clock.

Attendance totals count employee-shifts, not unique people. Events count once, including events with multiple participants. No worked hours or monetary costs are inferred. Operational event costs are not yet linked to Quality & Cost.

Load linked Activity and Incidents in Workforce to view comparisons.
Training cost: not yet collected. Output differences are not converted to money. Recorded rework costs are already included in Quality & Cost; do not add them again. Departures use Workforce assignments; operational comparisons use activity/event processes.
Within the same shift, department, role and agency/permanent group: at least one Established employee left, new-starter hours share rose by at least 5 percentage points versus the preceding equal-length period, and an eligible quality or output difference is observed.
Eligible comparison: at least 40 hours and 3 people in each cohort; at least 80% of each cohort’s recorded errors matched to activity (or no recorded errors). Quality difference: at least 3 matched new-starter errors, a gap of at least 0.2 errors per 100 hours, and a rate more than 25% above Established. Output difference: new-starter units/hour more than 10% below Established, with a positive Established rate. These are screening thresholds, not significance tests or proof of a cause.
All comparisons depend on complete activity and incident reporting. Units must represent the same output measure within a process; workload and task mix may still differ. The previous period may have incomplete history. Synthetic demo data demonstrates the calculations; it does not establish actual site performance.
Tenure at the event date · Confirmed operational errors · Estimated cost in GBP
Week 13+ combines later weeks. Gaps mean no activity hours.
Cases by review status, separate from operational errors and cost totals.
New Starter: days 1–30; Developing: 31–60; Established: 61+. Tenure is calculated at each event or activity date. Rates use confirmed errors with matching employee/date/department/process activity and positive hours, divided by all selected worked hours × 100. Unmatched errors remain in counts and cost but are excluded from rates; coverage is shown above.
Cost = rework person-minutes ÷ 60 × hourly cost + other direct costs. Other costs must exclude that labour cost. This is an estimate of recorded rework, not total losses or profit. Rates are descriptive, not causal or adjusted comparisons. Role and department filters use event/activity assignments; shift and employment use the Workforce assignment. Disciplinary reports do not imply confirmed misconduct.
Locate differences worth investigating across shifts and departments.
Raw turnover for the selected period. Click a cell to apply that shift and department.
Highlighted: at least +5 percentage points vs other shifts in the same department, with sufficient headcount and at least 3 leavers. Grey: small sample or no exposure. This view is not adjusted for employee mix.
Match department, role, agency / Permanent and tenure stage at first exposure in the period. Weight peer rates to the selected shift’s matched employee mix.
| Shift | Matched turnover | Peer benchmark | Gap | Coverage |
|---|
Coverage is the share of the shift’s average headcount with matching peers. Unmatched records are excluded from these rates.
Tenure at departure, among leavers in the current filters.
Share of departures, not a turnover risk rate. It does not measure the chance of leaving at each tenure stage.
Review thresholds: at least 5 average employees in both matched groups, at least 60% matched coverage, at least 3 matched leavers and a gap of 5 percentage points or more. These are transparent screening rules, not statistical significance tests.
Repeated elevation requires at least 3 complete months with adequate comparisons, and a gap of at least 5 percentage points with at least one departure in 2 or more of those months. Partial months are excluded. Small or unmatched groups are shown without a strong signal.
Comparisons can indicate where to investigate. They do not identify a cause or assess an individual manager. Reasons for leaving and manager-assignment history are not present in the current file. No process-difficulty assumption is used. Assignments are treated as constant; tenure matching uses the stage when the employee first enters the reporting window.
Turnover = leavers during the selected period ÷ average daily headcount × 100. Average headcount counts calendar days from Start date through End date, inclusive. Rates are for the selected period, not annualised; they may exceed 100%.
End date is the last working day. Opening headcount is immediately before the period; closing headcount is after departures on the final day. Opening + starters − leavers = closing. Retention follows only employees present at the opening of the period. Empty denominators display N/A.
Department, role, shift and agency are treated as constant within each uploaded employee record. Transfers and rehires require a future assignment-history model. Missing employees must be retained in the upload history for reliable rates. Demo history is synthetic, complete through 20 October 2026.
